EUNICE-With heavy hearts the family of Barbara Lane Oliver announces her passing on September 27, 2021, at her home with loved ones by her side at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1 p.m.

Catherine Cormier, 44, 3300 block of Prudhomme Road, Eunice. Probation violation, hold, falsification of drug test.
September 24
The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
They were teammates at Eunice High, now Stuart Turner and Tharold Simon are colleagues as high school football coaches.
Turner is coaching Bobcat running backs, while Simon is working with the St. Edmund Blue Jays’ defensive backs.
