Central Middle School’s Top Accelerated Reader for the entire school during the first grading period is sixth-grader Jeslyn Carrier, who has earned 190 AR points. Carrier is an avid reader who developed a love for reading in fourth-grade at Plantation Elementary in Lafayette Parish while reading “The Lightning Thief.” She said was hooked on reading from then on.
