State of the Community March 23

Preparations are well underway, and the Crowley Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to host the upcoming State of the Community Address on Friday, March 23.
Bringing together Acadia Parish School Board Superintendent John Bourque; Acadia Parish Police Jury President David Savoy and Crowley Mayor Greg Jones, the event aims to inform local citizens of the progress of the area and look forward to what is in store for our community.
Crowley Chamber President Amy Thibodeaux notes, “For the past seven years, we have connected elected leaders with the business community through this informative event. The State of the Community is a great opportunity to hear about each office’s goals, accomplishments, and ongoing efforts.
“Both Mayor Jones and Superintendent Bourque will be making their final State of the Community address as both will be retiring from their respective posts later this year,” she added. “We appreciate their service over the years and look forward to their final remarks.”
The Crowley Chamber encourages the general public to attend this effort to unite the parish leaders. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Crowley Town Club.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Chamber office. Tickets are $25 per person and will include a Lenten lunch.
