Investigators with the Rayne Police Department need help in locating Clavern Adams, 50, of Abbeville, according to Crime Stoppers of Acadia.
Adams is wanted for felony contractor fraud.
After hiring Adams and paying him a $3,000 deposit, the homeowner learned he was not insured, the news release stated. Once the owner brought this to Adams’ attention, the work stopped and funds were not returned to the victim, the release continued.
Adams is described as a black male, being 5’ 11” in height, weighing 205 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and his last known address is 1110 Maude in Abbeville.
