One injured in Sunday ‘drive-by’

CROWLEY - Police here are investigating a shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning that left one person injured.
Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said the shooting was reported in the 300 block of West Third Street at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The victim, Austin Wilturner, was taken to a local hospital and transferred to Alexandria with non life-threatening injuries, according to the chief.
Broussard said the incident appeared to have been a “drive-by shooting” and police are seeking a “person of interest.”
