Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is asking the public’s help to solve a felony theft case.
On Monday, Aug. 27, , deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the theft of two Multiquip air compressors, black and gray in color. These compressors are portable and are equipped with a trailer hitch to pull behind a vehicle.
These compressors were located on a job site on Bayou Mallet Highway just north of Acorn Hills Road in northern Acadia Parish.
Suspects gained entry to the job site by damaging a security fence, then removing the compressors with vehicles.
These compressors are valued at $22,000.
Anyone with any information regarding this case is urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS, or download the P3 APP on you mobile device to report your tip anonymously.
All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
