The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in the Grand Prairie area who is suspected of stealing a dirt bike.
In a news release from Sheriff Eddie Soileau said, “authorities are looking for Derrick D. LaFleur, 38, of Eunice.”
The press release continued, “On September 21, EPSO received a call in reference to a theft. LaFleur, aka “Sweet D,” is wanted in the theft of a 2006 DR-Z4005 Suzuki dirt bike taken from Zenon Road in the Grand Prairie area.
LaFleur is facing charges for theft of a motor vehicle and criminal trespassing.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division at 337-363-2161. All callers will remain anonymous.
