EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jennifer “Jenny” Lyons Maglalang announces her passing on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home at the age of 55.
Funeral Services will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero officiating.
Jenny loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband of nine years, Bernardo Maglalang of Basile; sons, Dustin Lavergne and wife, Raven of Eunice, and Cade Maglalang of Basile; daughter, Laci Lavergne of Eunice; step-sons, Glen Maglalang of Carencro, Rafael Maglalang and fiancé, Chelsy John of Eunice, Ace Bernard Maglalang of Basile, and Riley Maglalang of Lake Arthur; step-daughter, Ivy Landry and husband, Garret of Pitkin; brother, Ferdie Lyons and wife, Sandy of Tepetate; sister, Julie Vidrine and husband, Leonard of Eunice; and eleven grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Mary Stroderd Lyons; sister, Jackie Lyons; and niece, Addi Jo Czerwinski.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, December 29th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Sunday, December 30th, 2018 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Saturday.
