RAYNE - A Memorial Service honoring and celebrating the life of Rosemary Simpson Curtis, age 87, of Rayne will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Reverend Gene Lee, Pastor of Rayne First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Visitation will be observed on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 8:00 AM until service time in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne.
Ms. Curtis passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in a Crowley health care faciltiy.
A native of Balch, AR, Ms. Curtis was a longtime resident of Rayne. She was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, having completed her studies at Charity Hospital School of Nursing.
Survivors include her son, Dwight Thomas Curtis and wife, Amanda of Rayne; daughter, Karon Cook and husband, Robert of Rayne; grandchildren, Karon Elizabeth Traore, J.T. Curtis, Logan Curtis, Carl Curtis, Scott Curtis, Mary Katherine Cook Broussard, Rosemary Cook Guidry, Mayme Cook Brown, adn Beau Johnston; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Traore, Riley Traore, Ada Traore, Jack Hunt, Dane Curtis, Wes Curtis, Johnny Curtis, William Broussard, Thomas Broussard, Lucy Brown, and Mark Brown.
