The Acadian Baptist Center, near Richard, will host a Senior Adult luncheon on April 15. Guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Allen, retired professor of botany from ULM and retired botanist from Colorado State University’s Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands at Fort Polk. Dr. Allen’s topic will be “Butterfly Gardening.” All are invited to attend, enjoy music, door prizes, and a hot lunch. Admission is free, however, a love offering will be taken.
