The pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, the Rev. Matthew Hebert, was injured when the 2018 Jeep Wrangler he was driving left the Walmart parking lot, crossed the Murphy station and U.S. 190 to land against the Tractor Supply building, Eunice Police report. The Jeep narrowly missed a vehicle on U.S. 190 as it headed to Tractor Supply, police said. Police did not know Hebert’s condition on Wednesday, but said he was in a hospital. (Photo by Harlan Kirgan)
