Cheryl Milburn, Registrar of Voters of St. Landry Parish has announced that early voting for the October 12 election will begin Saturday, Sept. 28 and will continue through Saturday, Oct. 5. Office are from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Early voting can be accomplished at the St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Suite 114, in the Registrar of Voters Office, and at Eunice City Hall, located at 300 S. 2nd Street in Eunice.
Voters must present a picture identification with the voter’s signature.
Deadline to request a mail ballot is Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. Deadline for Register of Voters to receive a voted ballot is at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11.

What’s on the ballot:
Statewide:
Governor, lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Commissioner of Agriculture, Commissioner of Insurance, Board of Elementary and Secondary Education State Senator, and State Representative.
Parishwide: Sheriff, Clerk of Court, Assessor, Coroner, Parish President, Parish Council members, and Constitutional Amendments.
Regular polling places will be open on election day.
