WHO DAT SANTA?

Eunice Kiwanis Club has a Mystery Santa

Can you guess the identity of this Mystery Santa?
The person who does identify the person behind the beard will receive a dinner for two at Nick’s on 2nd Street, a gift basket from Kiwanis, and a one year subscription to The Eunice News.
The Eunice Kiwanis members met recently and wanted to bring back the Mystery Santa featured in The Eunice News from 1962 to 2002.
Many years ago, near the Christmas season and before the scheduled Christmas parade in Eunice, The Eunice News dressed a local businessman in a Santa suit, with a heavy beard and all. This Santa was pictured in the the paper and the guessing game began on who was the Mystery Santa?
The correct winner won a one-year subscription to The Eunice News. The very first winner of the Mystery Santa in 1962 won $5.
Why ‘Mystery’ Santa, now? Chuck Richard, a Kiwanis member, said, “It’s mainly to get people in the holiday spirit, and to promote the annual Kiwanis Christmas parade.”
The Eunice Kiwanis Christmas parade is scheduled for 5 p.m. Dec. 5.
The Kiwanis Mystery Santa committee chose the local business person as their Santa.
Email MysterySanta@mail.com to submit your entry identifying the Mystery Santa.
The Mystery Santa will be revealed on Dec. 5 along with the winner’s name.
