At least two people traded shots near the Sunrise Apartment complex Wednesday, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
Police received a call from someone in the 700 block of South Beulah at about 7:45 p.m. reporting about 15 shots being fired.
Fontenot said a woman called police reporting a shot went through her window and struck a cross on a wall.
“We do have some suspects we are looking at,” he said
“It looked from what I understand there were a couple of people shooting at each other,” he said.
“We don’t know what it was about,” he said.
There were at least two shooters with one in a vehicle and another on foot, he said.
Fontenot said there are no reported injuries.
