Kinder- Irene B. Reed, 89, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & great-great grandmother. She was a devout Catholic, a member of the Ladies Alter Society and Chaplin for American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of many years.
She is survived by her four children Gregory and wife Stephanie, Randall J. and wife Denise, Pamela A. Reed all of Eunice, and Phillip Reed and wife Sandra of Kinder, daughter in law Stephanie F. Reed of Eunice, LA., 10 grand-children; Jessica Ballard, Jamie Thibodeaux, Erica Richard, Tiffany Boss, Jimmy Lee, Randy Reed, Wesley Fruge, Lacey Thevies, Scott DeRanger and Katy Reed, 17 great-grandchildren, 18 great great-grandchildren and 3 great great-great grandchildren.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband Elward P. Reed, son Kenneth J. and her parents Walter and Pauline Richard Boone.
Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Father Hampton Davis will officiate; burial will follow in St Paul’s Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice. Visitation will begin Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice at 9 a.m. until time of the funeral. A rosary will be recited at 12 noon by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
