Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, in Eunice for Donald Ray Laday, 66, who passed on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Opelousas General Hospital. Rev. Allen Ben will officiate at the services which are directed by Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Mr. Laday was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Ned and the former Agnes Terry, three brothers Hillary Randal, Jr., Joel Ned, and Dickey Laday, and one sister Sinder Ned Guillory.
Sharing and cherishing his memory are his son Charles Jamie Hill of Eunice, and three sisters Faith Neville of Crowley, Lucy LaFleur (Walter, Jr.) of Mamou, and Barbara Laday of Eunice, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A time for visitation will be held at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 9 a.m. until time of services.
