Bids for a street overlay project came in about 24% higher than estimated, according to Karl Aucoin, city engineer.
Aucoin said five bids were received for the project done every two years.
The bids are to be on the agenda for the Board of Aldermen meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
