    The VFW Post 8971 bingo has a $10,000 jackpot waiting for some lucky player. “I fully expect it to hit in the next four to five weeks,” said VFW Commander Donnie Fontenot. Bingo games are held every Thursday and Sunday at the post on U.S. 190 East. The doors open at 4 p.m. and the games start at 7 p.m. Players buy a $10 primary pack, but it is the $2 sheets that wind up with the big priz...
