NEW ROADS – The Blue Jays were hoping to earn a first round playoff game with a win over Catholic High of Pointe Coupee.
But it was the Hornets celebrating as CHPC earned a 38-29 win over St. Edmund in the regular season finale.
St. Edmund (6-4 - 2-3) now waits for the LHSAA playoff brackets to be released later today to see who the Blue Jays will face in the Div. IV bi-district round.
