Fire District 6, which serves about 8,000 people in a 100-mile area outside Eunice, put two fire trucks into service last week, according to its fire chief, Chaise Brown.
The trucks are both 3,000-gallon tanker-pumper trucks. They can pump 1,500 gallons per minute and have built-in foam systems, he said.
