A Eunice man was charged in Acadia Parish with firing an assault weapon at another man on New Year’s Eve.
Julian Ray Guillory Jr., 29, is charged with attempted first-degree murder and illegal discharge of a firearm in an incident that occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Dec. 31, according to a news release from Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
