John Stevens Cormier passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the age of 70. A Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 6 p.m.. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday until time of Services.
John is survived by one son, Steven Cormier and wife Becky; two daughters, Kelly Broussard and husband Richard, Kim Cormier; three step daughters, Sharon Lasseigne and husband Chris, Julia Reed and husband Alvin, Carmon Reynolds and husband Chris; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Romain Cormier; an infant daughter; his parents, Joseph Rogers and Mary Lou Fuselier Cormier; one brother, Larry Cormier and one great-grandson, Jack Willis LaFleur.
