A blue sky with afternoon temperatures in the 70s blessed the Eunice Mardi Gras.
“Today is just picture perfect. Look at the people having fun,” said Mayor Scott Fontenot as he looked over the crowd on 2nd Street at about 2 p.m.
“It is clean,” he said of the street. “Everybody is using the trash cans!”
