Catherine LeBleu Guillory

EUNICE-On Saturday, April 30, 2022, the family of Catherine LeBleu Guillory lost their dear wife, mother, grandmother and friend at the age of 83 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Father Clement, Celebrant.
Catherine was a strong, outgoing, family-oriented woman. She had many interests, including photography, scrapbooking, crocheting, painting and genealogy. She also was a devout Catholic, devoted mother and an LPN all of her life. Catherine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald L. Guillory of Chataignier; sons, Michael Guillory and wife, Angie of Eunice, and Steven Guillory of Berwick; daughters, Elizabeth Babin and husband, Conrad of St. Amant, Jennifer Guillory Merchan and husband, Gregory of Baton Rouge, and Patricia Boardman and husband, Grant of Peoria, AZ; seven grandchildren, Alison Sandoval, Lauren Herbison, Jean’ Guillory, Candice Yaun, Nicholas Babin, Trent Guillory, and Gabrielle Babin; five great grandchildren, Sophie Yaun, Emma Yaun, Jack Guillory, Lyra Guillory, and Gannon Herbison; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Rhett McManus and parents, Joseph Clarence and Atile Fontenot LeBleu.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, May 3 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., and again on Wednesday, May 4 from 8 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Chuck Ortego Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.
