8 arrested in second major crime patrol targeting guns, drugs
Eight people were arrested including an unlucky escapee from the Evangeline Parish Jail who was caught in the second major crime patrol in Eunice conducted from about 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday.
“Blue lights were everywhere last night,” Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. “You couldn’t move around town without seeing police cars.”
