A 14-year-old shooter was found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 31-year-old Donavon Reed, of Eunice, in trial before Eunice City Judge Terry Hoychick on Friday.
St. Landry Parish District Attorney Chad Pitre, in a news release, also stated the juvenile was guilty of attempted second-degree murder in the wounding of Troy Godfrey.
