Former Eunice Police officer injured

A GoFundMe account has been set up for former Eunice Police Brian Rozas who was injured Sunday while attempting to stop a vehicle in Lafayette where he works as a police officer. According to news reports, Rozas was struck by a suspect’s vehicle, which dragged him about 100 feet at about 1:20 a.m. in the 400 block of Jefferson Street.
