Eunice Police arrested 18-year-old Lewis Jones for shooting at Mamou Police Chief Brent Zachary on April 12 after a chase from Mamou, according to a news release from Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
Jones is charged with attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, aggravated drive-by shooting and aggravated flight from an officer.
