The Lady Jays made program history Tuesday as St. Edmund earned a 3-0 sweep over No. 19 Family Christian Academy in the opening round of the LHSAA Div. V volleyball playoffs.
It was the first ever home playoff game and the first playoff win for the No. 14 Lady Jays (19-8), who will travel to No. 3 Central Catholic of Morgan City for the regional round on Friday.
