An Angel Tree is set up at Chris’ Designs, at 1701 West Laurel. The Christmas Tree’s purpose is for Oak Lane Wellness’ residents to received Christmas gifts. There are paper angels, male and female, with three wishes on each one. A customer can walk into the business and choose one or more. Purchase a gift item, wrap the gift, place the angel on the gift, and return it to Chris Designs. The deadline for the gift to be brought in is Dec. 15. Picking an angel is Denee’ Soileau of Basile. A crowd of shoppers participated in the annual Noel on the Prairie Saturday. Holly’s Hobbies, at 235 West Walnut, offered sales for their shoppers. Thirty nine Eunice merchants participated in the annual Holiday Shopping Spree. Two drawings, valued at $1,375 each, was offered for shoppers and a lucky winner will be drawn this week.

The 23rd annual Noel on the Prairie Holiday Shopping Spree was held Saturday and Sunday. The Open House was held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and some businesses were opened from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday.
