    Eunice City Marshal Terry Darbonne called donors together at the Eunice City Court to thank them for making possible metal detectors used at school sports events and other uses. “There was an episode in Opelousas at a football game — probably blown out of proportion and thank God it was because I think it opened our eyes for the need for security,” Darbonne said.
