Former LSUE biology professors Malcolm Vidrine and Charles Allen are to receive the James Williams Rivers Prize in Louisiana Studies in April.
They are likely the first “hard” scientists to receive the honor from The Center for Louisiana Studies at the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
