Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies need help to in animal cruelty case.
Deputies are investigating a senseless act of cruelty which occurred on April 17 on Soldier Road near Mire. Two donkeys were discovered to have been shot within the property that they were kept. One of the donkeys died from this cowardly act and the other is being treated for its injuries.
