Calling it “Operation Viper” in a news release, St Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz announced Thursday that David Clarence Marler has been arrested on drug charges and battery of a police officer.
Marler, 59, of the 6400 block of Highway 31, Opelousas, is the husband of attorney Laura Marler, of the same address, who was arrested on May 12 on drug charges.
