St. Landry Parish School Board’s loss of the Head Start program announced June 8 was not a complete surprise.
The School Board had been told it faced “recompetition” in March for the $9 million federal program.
Board members discussed the loss of the program after a special meeting on Monday where they selected McGlinchey Stafford as its new legal counsel.
