The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide.
The incident is believed to have occurred Sunday evening at Kathy Apartments just west of Crowley as deputies were called for a shots fired incident. No one was reported injured at that time.
On Monday evening, deputies were advised of a deceased individual being discovered on the property of Kathy Apartments. An individual was discovered and believed to be a victim of Sunday night’s shooting.
Deputies are working this case and more information will be released as the investigation allows, the news release from Sheriff KP Gibson stated.
