St Landry Crime Stoppers awarded their top 2023 Officer of the Year awards on July 26.
The guest speaker was Stacy Green-Conrad of the Louisiana Department of Health who spoke on fentanyl.
The award winners are all with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office except for Sable Jolivette, who is with the Arnaudville Police Department. Deputy Robert Wilbanks is Officer of the Year.
Deputy Jacalyn Gettings is Correctional Officer of the Year.
Deputy Aimee Fremin is Civil Officer of the Year.
Dispatcher Sable Jolivette is Dispatcher of the Year.
Lt. Jessica Greene is Special Services Officer of the Year.
Sgt. Eric Reed is Detective of the Year.
Maj. Brian Hundley is Supervisor of the Year.
Lt. Steven Hidalgo is Judge Robert Brinkman Superior Officer of the Year.
Receiving the life saving award were Sgt. Damien Morgan and Capt. Charles LaJack Jr. of Fire District 3.
