An interim appointment to fill the St. Landry Parish District 13 Parish Council position is scheduled to be made at Wednesday’s Council meeting.
As of a special meeting on Aug. 9 there are two candidates — Lynn Lejeune and Darrell Huckaby.
Lejeune served as Eunice mayor from 2002 to 2006 and and executive director of he Greater Krotz Springs Port Commission form 2016 to 2021.
