A Blue Star Memorial Marker was unveiled on October 23 in Jennings at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in honor of men and women who serve in the Armed Forces. The marker was sponsored by the Jennings Garden Club and in cooperation with the remaining clubs in District VII, which included the Bulb and Blossom Garden Club of Eunice.
