Third annual Christmas Festival at the Eunice Community Garden

Santa made a visit at the Eunice Community Garden Thursday evening during its third annual Christmas Festival.
Many families with children were on the grounds of the garden. The free Christmas event featured children’s games, activities, prizes and face painting. The garden grounds were decorated with Christmas lights and hanging ornaments. Many local businesses had booths designed for fun games, activities and different prizes.
Refreshments of popcorn, hot dogs, hot chocolate, and gumbo were served.
The Bulb & Blossom Club members had a table of recyclable cardboard, bird seed, lard, paper straws and twine for children to craft bird feeders.
Children met with Santa and he heard and made notes of children’s Christmas wishes.
The family-oriented fun event was held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eunice Community Garden located at 2101 West Ash in Eunice, directly behind the OMV and Eunice Food Bank.
