Workers were busy at Eunice Junior High School over the holiday break installing two outdoor air conditioning units and chillers, according to Claudia Blanchard, St. Landry Parish School Board director of operations. The new units installed by Star Service Inc. will help with air quality at the school.
Additionally, demolition is planned for the old adult education building, below, behind the Eunice Career and Technical Center. The demolition is to be done by Mike and Son LLC of Opelousas. Blanchard said the building is poor condition and has not been used in decades. (Photos by Harlan Kirgan)
