State Rep. Phillip DeVillier is settling into his role as House Speaker after two special sessions and a regular session opening Monday.
“It has been an interesting couple of months. I’ve really enjoyed getting to learn the role of being Speaker and to learn the different people who work at the capitol and what their jobs are,” he said in a phone interview.
