Central Middle and Eunice Jr. High band students competed in a Louisiana Music Educators Association district event held at UL at Lafayette campus. The band event was held for band students from different school districts. The middle school and junior high school band members took home top superior ratings in their district and a trophy.
Emily Young, band director at Central Middle School and Eunice Jr. High, brought her band members to a Louisiana Music Educators Association District band event competition Monday and Tuesday on the campus of UL at Lafayette.
Band members from Eunice competed in their category, in District III, against other schools from Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, St. Martin and Vermilion parishes.
