LSUE’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Mathematics) Innovation Center a major project.
In addition to the $3.25 million in federal funding, LSUE Chancellor Nancee Sorenson said $27.5 million in state funding is in the works to renovate the oldest building on the campus.
The Science Building, which also houses administrative offices, was built in 1967.
