Former Eunice Mayor Kenneth Peart showed up at Tuesday’s Board of Aldermen meeting with fireworks shell in hand and an announcement.
“I seem to remember this place,” he said. Peart served as mayor from 1996 to 2002. He served as an alderman from 1981 to 1990 and served as alderman at-large from 1994 to 1996.
