Acadia Parish Sheriff KP Gibson took the oath of office for his third term in office, which will begin on July 1, 2024. Sheriff Gibson also received the Oath of Office for the office of President of the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Association, which will also begin on July 1st.
Family, friends and members of the Sheriff’s Office attended the ceremony at the Grand Opera House at 2 p.m. June 18.
