As opening day of school nears, most St. Landry Parish public school jobs are filled, according to a report given the School Board Thursday by Superintendent Milton Batiste.
While Batiste described school staffing as “fluid,” he said the numbers are moving in the right direction for the school system with classes set to start this Thursday and Friday.
