The workforce counts in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes declined in July compared to a year ago, according to data released by the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
But the Tri-Parish workforce count declined by 34 to 68,981 in July compared to a year ago.
The workforce includes those working and seeking a job.
