St. Landry Parish public schools and its administrative offices will have early dismissal Tuesday be closed Wednesday due to Tropical Storm Francine.
A time for dismissal on Tuesday was not announced.
The closure also applies to all after-school activities and sports practices scheduled for these days.
The decision was made in consultation with the National Weather Service (NWS) and the Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) to prioritize the safety of our students and staff, which is our utmost concern.
Normal operations are expected to resume on Thursday.
