LSU Eunice held its fifth annual “Trunk or Treat” from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The free community event was held on the campus of LSUE.
There were 38 Halloween decorated booths and vendors, from local businesses, groups, clubs, and l fire and police vehicles manned by Halloween dressed volunteers giving candy out to 2,000 people who attended.
The event is hosted by LSUE Staff Senate with the help from various campus groups as well as community partners including the Eunice Fire Department, Eunice Marshall’s office, the Eunice Police Department, St. Landry Parish Sheriff, among others.
